The University of Calgary is a public research university located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The University of Calgary started in 1944 as the Calgary branch of the University of Alberta, founded in 1908, prior to being instituted into a separate, autonomous university in 1966.
All international applicants for whom English is not the native tongue must provide proof of competence in the English language. Scholarships and Awards are available for students entering first year in an undergraduate degree programme.
If you’re entering the University of Calgary in the fall term directly from high school and have an admission average of 95.0% or higher, you are eligible. Scholarships and Awards are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.

- Eligibility criteria differ for each award; review details carefully
- Scholarship Average: required for all competitive high school awards and calculated using your 20-level high school grades (grade 11 for non-Alberta students) or 30-level grades (grade 12) if available. Comparable IB courses may also be used.
