31 CURAM MedTrain Fellowships For International Experienced Researchers In Ireland-Apply


The Centre for Research in Medical Devices (CÚRAM) is offering MedTrain Fellowship Programme to fill up to 31 Marie Sk?odowska-Curie Fellows (experienced researchers). 31 CURAM MedTrain Fellowships For International Experienced Researchers are open to candidates of any nationality. The positions are available for two years from 1st January 2019, and are co-funded by the European Union’s Marie Sk?odowska-Curie COFUND scheme. Field Of study:

Career Development and Mobility Fellowships in Medical Device Research and Development – A CÚRAM Industry-Academia Training Initiative. MedTrain offers prestigious two-year fellowships to eligible experienced researchers in the area of Medical Device Research and Development, including Research in Development of Roadmaps for Commercialization of Medical Devices, Functional Biomaterials and Developing Research Methodology in Measuring Impact of Biomedical Science Communication. This is a research and training focused role.

Scholarship Benefits:

Fellowship of value €33,616-43,525 per annum; Remuneration is in line with EC rules for Marie Sk?odowskaCurie COFUND grants.

Eligibility For The 31 CURAM MedTrain Fellowships For International Experienced Researchers:

To be successful, applicants must meet the following:

  • Applicants must be in possession of a doctoral degree, or have at least four years full-time equivalent research experience.
  • Not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Ireland for more than 12 months in the three years immediately prior to this date. Compulsory national service and/or short stays such as holidays are not taken in to account.
  • Applicants must be fluent in Englisg.

How To Apply For The Scholarship:

Applicants are required to develop a project proposal in collaboration with a CÚRAM Principal Investigator (from those listed on the MedTrain website www.medtrain.eu), and submit their proposal via the online application system, which can be accessed via the website. The system will remain open for applications until midnight (UTC) on the call deadline 26th September 2018.
